Summer is the third piece in my Four Seasons series.
I wanted this piece to feel like summer at its fullest — lots of growth, colour and movement. The form is covered in hand-built flowers, leaves, vines, grapes and fruit, all layered over each other to create a dense, almost overgrown surface.
The bright reds and oranges sit against the darker leaves and deep blue grapes, with the different glazes adding depth and movement across the piece.
